Tammy L. Lewis, Special Counsel in London

Tammy Lewis practices in the area of insurance and reinsurance, specializing in the London insurance and reinsurance market.   She has expertise with professional indemnity and specialty lines of business, such as intellectual property insurance, media insurance, and event cancellation coverages, as well as analyzing and resolving cross-border issues and international disputes.  Ms. Lewis also has experience with trade sanctions issues affecting the insurance markets.  Ms. Lewis has significant litigation experience representing London market clients and domestic insurers, including a successful trial involving a complex coverage dispute in Portland, Oregon.  

Ms. Lewis has served as in-house counsel for a Lloyd’s managing agency and a London market company, and has provided legal advice and support for insurer clients on a diverse book of direct and reinsurance business involving property and casualty business.
